Over the past few weeks I've been posting short but regular 60-sec video blasts to my Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts...
The idea behind this new project is to quickly share some of the stuff we get up to at the dojo, introduce a selection of the core concepts behind our approach to karate and hopefully, provide mobile friendly bite-size inspiration...all within the space of only one minute!
Since the first video blast was released on 22nd July, I've received lots of messages of support so it looks like people are enjoying the idea and so long as 'likes' and 'shares' keep coming, then I'll endeavour to keep posting up new content.
I'm really enjoying the concept and process behind these video blasts. It encourages me to take more footage in class, be ruthless with editing (as I tend to talk too much!!) and it will provide a great framework to introduce new projects in the near future that I'm currently working on.
To date I've released a total of 12 video blasts with more coming on pretty much a daily basis. So far we've covered fitness and conditioning exercises, kata application, pad work, limb control drills, supplementary training, body mechanics and more!
To get you started, here are FB links to all my video blasts so far, but please be sure to connect with me via Instagram, Facebook and/or Twitter for future episodes.
I hope you enjoy being part of this new project and please feel free to drop me a line of you have any comments, feedback, or specific topics you'd like me to cover.
